5 Best Place to Find the Cheapest Outdoor Planters for your garden …..
HomeGoods/TjMaxx/Marshalls
I love shopping at home goods and I usually can find lots of beautiful inexpensive outdoor planters there right before spring starts. The thing with HomeGoods, tjmaxx and Marshalls is you really need to hit the stores and buy them as soon as they start hitting the shelves, especially if you want matching sets. You can find so many beautiful unique styles there and in different sizes. I have found a lot of my pots there. Especially my favorite ones the Black and Terracotta Mexican clay ones that I have been collecting over time.
I also find a lot of the winter friendly pots which I love. They are frost resistant which is also very important to me since I keep a lot of my pots outside all year round. HomeGoods and the other sister stores tend to carry a lot of the weather resistant ones which I love and at great prices usually running between $9.99, $12.99, $14.99, $24.99, $29.99 and up to $99.00 usually for the really huge pots. I have been so lucky to find decent size 24” pots for as little as $19.99! You can find a lot of inexpensive large outdoor planters at great prices.
Walmart
They have been stepping up their game in modernizing the home decor section and they do not disappoint in the garden center. Their pots are also very reasonable but I usually like to keep these pots indoor in the winder. I learned the hard way with the trending Walmart ceramic pots from last year. I do have one of the Plastic pots that is also trending this year again and that one did great with the winter. My Ceramic one not so much it is chipping badly. Some are not frost resistant so it is extremely important to look out for those if you plan to keep them outdoors if they are terracotta or glass.
BJS/COSTCO/SAMSCLUB
If you are looking for raised garden beds or barrel pots, you can find them here at a better price than other retail garden stores.
Kohls
You have to know how to shop at kohls but if you know all about using their coupons and stacking it with kohls cash while they have sales you can find some beautiful containers there and save big! I did it last year and was really impressed.
Thrift Stores / Dollar Tree
If you are not too concerned about looks and just need basic plastic or small pots you can find tons in Thrift Stores and Dollar Tree. They have some of the cheapest outdoor planters that you can easily spray paint to your desired colors.
