This past weekend I got the privilege of designing and setting up my dear friend Liz's daughter Sweet 16. I've known Leslie since she was a baby and it is such a pleasure to see her blossom into such a beautiful young lady. Leslie wanted an elegant Masquerade ball. Her color choices was Black, Gold and White. I knew that with those colors it had to be something glamorous! I chose to keep the masks subtle (notice little masks in the flowers and table) not loud and obvious. It added a nice touch of elegance and simplicity, sometimes less is more like they say! Here are the photos to her glam masquerade sweet 16. ...
Welcome Delilah
You guys, it's been a while! We got a new addition to the family, Her name is Delilah and she is a dream! Sometimes I can't believe I have a little girl. I always thought I would just be a boy mom, but here she is. She was born on September 11th weighing 7 lbs 14 oz. She took on to breastfeeding really well like Donovan and although they sort of look alike, they are so different in many ways. From the way they cry to their expressions and sleeping routine. This time around I didn't even realize I was in labor, I was kind of confused if I was even in labor to begin with since my water broke with Donovan, I had no clue what to expect with ...
Home Decor Jewelry DIY
One trend I'm loving is the Home Decor Wooden Bead Jewelry that I've been seeing lately. I love seeing all the wooden beads draping around vases and on coffee tables accenting books. It really dresses up the home decor and it's super easy to do! Today I wanted to share a Home Decor Jewelry DIY and show you how to mix up the style at the same time. The Magnolia Story | Such a great book about Joanna and Chip Gaines, which I'm sure a lot of you know by now from HGTV Fixer Upper. It's on their life as a couple and the struggles they've been through and how it led them to be where they are today. What I loved most about this book is the love and inspiration they fed off of each other and their trust in God to lead them in the right path in life. Such an inspiring book. The Butterfly Garden | Such a chilling story about a serial killer who ...
