New & Old Baby Items I Love

So now that Delilah is a month old I wanted to share a list of my new and old baby items I'm loving and I use with her. When I had Donovan I remember I wanted to try everything that was out there that caught my interest, but the truth is you don't really need to. Babies are simple people, you just need a few essentials and you're good to go. That and maybe some fun things you may want to try but you don't need everything. New Items 01. Life Factory Bottle | One new Item I really came to love as a brand in general is Life Factory. I even have a few of their ... Read the Post

Leslie’s Sweet 16 Masquerade.

This past weekend I got the privilege of designing and setting up my dear friend Liz's daughter Sweet 16. I've known Leslie since she was a baby and it is such a pleasure to see her blossom into such a beautiful young lady. Leslie wanted an elegant Masquerade ball. Her color choices was Black, Gold and White. I knew that with those colors it had to be something glamorous! I chose to keep the masks subtle (notice little masks in the flowers and table) not loud and obvious. It added a nice touch of elegance and simplicity, sometimes less is more like they say! Here ... Delilah | Month One.

I can't believe it's already been one month since I had Delilah. Time slow down! She is such a good baby, she is a little tougher than Donovan was but overall I can't complain. She took well to breastfeeding, latched on like a pro and although I feel like she doesn't eat enough, she is gaining weight the way she should be, so I guess I'm just too use to Donovan's over - drinking my breastmilk (if thats even a thing). Donny was a plumpy baby due to all the milk he drank. Delilah on the other hand will drink until she's full enough then stops. Which makes her wake ... Read the Post

Fall Family Tradition

It's starting to get really chilly out here any NYC. The crisp fall air is finally here. It was just 40 degrees the other day and I didn't realize it and ran out there with just a tank top and leggings! I got a rude awakening when I went out that door to take Drake to school. Gotta love the surprise weather changes in the fall, where one day it can be nearly 80 degrees and the next it drops down to 40 degrees. The other day we took the kids pumpkin picking. It's a fall family tradition I like to have with the kids. I want them to look back and remember those ... Read the Post

Welcome Delilah

You guys, it's been a while! We got a new addition to the family, Her name is Delilah and she is a dream! Sometimes I can't believe I have a little girl. I always thought I would just be a boy mom, but here she is. She was born on September 11th weighing 7 lbs 14 oz. She took on to breastfeeding really well like Donovan and although they sort of look alike, they are so different in many ways. From the way they cry to their expressions and sleeping routine. This time around I didn't even realize I was in labor, I was kind of confused if I was even in labor to ... Read the Post

One trend I'm loving is the Home Decor Wooden Bead Jewelry that I've been seeing lately. I love seeing all the wooden beads draping around vases and on coffee tables accenting books. Best Books I’ve Read this Summer

I've been on a reading binge this summer. Here are a list of the best books I've read this summer that had me on my toes with wanting to read more! The Magnolia Story | Such a great book about Joanna and Chip Gaines, which I'm sure a lot of you know by now from HGTV Fixer Upper. It's on their life as a couple and the struggles they've been through and how it led them to be where they are today. What I loved most about this book is the love and inspiration they fed off of each other and their trust in God to lead them in the right path in life. Such an inspiring ... Read the Post
